Western Veil Nebula

The Western Veil Nebula, also known as the Witch's Broom Nebula (NGC 6960 / Caldwell 34), is a stunning supernova remnant located roughly 1,400 to 2,400 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. It is part of the larger Cygnus Loop, created by the explosive death of a massive star 20 times the mass of the Sun roughly 10,000 to 20,000 years ago.
